Gualaceo, Chordeleg and Ingapirca Tour (Express)



Route:
We will head north to the Ingapirca Ruins, the largest archaeological Cañarí-Inca Complex in Ecuador; the date of the ruins dates from the 15th and 16th centuries and is located two hours from Cuenca.
We will visit the complex observing the vestiges of this shrine, such as: Pilaloma, Vestiges of Housing, the ceremonial Plaza, the palace, etc. With a complete explanation by the guide, we will visit the museum, and the face of the Inca
Then we will leave for the city of Gualaceo where we visit its two markets: food and fruit. Lunch is at the choice and at the expense of the passenger, then we will visit the central church and have free time to buy leather goods of excellent quality and at very good prices. Then we will leave for Chordeleg, famous for its gold, silver, filigree, wood, and ceramic crafts, as well as the largest candonga in the world, among others. We visit the main park and have plenty of time to shop.
We end our trip with a visit to an art store where the famous Macanas or shawls are made, a typical garment of our "Chola Cuencana." The artisans explain the famous and unique process of making these garments.
